Technical Specialist / Sales
At K-tainer, everything revolves around shipping containers. We sell and rent them, inspect them, modify them – all from the beating heart of the Port of Rotterdam, right between the container terminals. If you have a passion for logistics, international trade, and technology, we have a role where you can truly thrive.
What will you do?
- Inspections & certification: You check containers for us and our customers. An IICL certificate is a plus, but you can also obtain it with us.
- Technical modifications: From small adjustments to complex projects – you think in solutions.
- Reefers & specials: Experience with refrigerated containers or special requests? Great! No experience yet? We’ll teach you.
- Drawings & execution: You can read technical drawings or even create them. Experience with CAD is a plus, but not a must.
- Customer contact: You communicate smoothly with customers and colleagues to solve technical challenges.
Who are you?
- A technician with a passion for logistics and containers.
- Someone who combines technical insight with a hands-on mentality.
- Experienced in container inspections or motivated to learn.
- Skilled in reading drawings or eager to improve in this area.
- A team player who easily connects with customers and colleagues.
- Strong command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. German is a plus
