Complete roofing
For Greif Netherlands, we have realized a complete roofing on two 40ft High Cube sea containers. This project was carried out in cooperation with our partners, successfully completing the process from application to delivery.
Greif's request came when they were looking for a practical, robust solution to store pallets dry due to specific customer requirements. The solution: a sturdy gable tent structure on the containers, flexible and ideal for quick expansion of dry storage space.
Technology
For this project, a robust and flexible roofing solution was chosen with two 40ft High Cube sea containers as the base. The combination of sturdy containers and a durable gable tent provides a multifunctional storage space that is ideal as dry storage, temporary storage hall, or workspace.

Technology
- 2 x 40ft High Cube containers, supplied by K-Tainer
- Robust galvanized steel gable roof frame
- Clear span of approximately 10 meters between containers, without intermediate columns
- Roof height approx. 5.5 meters at the ridge
- Roof covering of heavy PVC fabric (650 g/m²), UV-resistant and fire retardant (B1/M2)
- Mechanical fabric tensioning with ratchets and brackets for wind and storm resistance up to approx. 100 km/h
- Containers serve as supporting base and closed storage space
