♨️ Hotroom / Heating Containers
Let’s heat things up!
Cold problem? We’ve got the solution. Our hotroom containers – also known as heating containers – are perfect for controlled heating of materials, components, or products. Think applications in (petro)chemistry, offshore, industrial sectors, or winter construction projects.
Based on a standard 20ft or 40ft container, fully customized to your needs.
Modular construction: Mix & Match
We build container solutions with a modular mindset. Combine multiple functions into one powerful Agri-unit:
Module | Function | Added Value |
---|---|---|
Hotroom | Hydration, pre-heating | Improved growth and faster processing |
Growbox | Vertical farming | High yield in a compact space |
Coldroom | Cooling and storage | Extended shelf life |
Tech-unit | Sensors, climate control | Smart monitoring and data collection |

What is a Hotroom Container?
A hotroom is an insulated heated space where goods or materials can be temporarily stored or treated at a constant temperature. Our heating containers are built completely to spec, with the right capacity, controls, and ventilation systems.
Typical features:
- Insulation (PU or rock wool) for minimal heat loss
- Electric heating or hot water unit (capacity up to ±12 kW)
- Temperature control: thermostat, timer, or PLC-based
- Air circulation with integrated fan
- Interior LED lighting
- Connection: 400V / 16A or 32A
- Leak tray flooring optional
- ATEX version available on request
Applications
Our hotrooms are used for:
- Heating or conditioning chemicals
- Storage of temperature-sensitive substances
- Treating coating materials or resins
- Heating cables, pumps, or pipelines
- Testing setups in cold outdoor conditions
- Temporary heated units on construction sites
Suitable for industry, logistics, maritime sector, B2B workshops, and technical installations.

Customization & Modifications
Every situation requires a unique solution. That’s why we build these containers modular and fully tailored. Want extra doors, a different type of heating, alarm system, or remote monitoring over the internet? No problem.
Our hotroom containers are designed for intensive use under various climate conditions.
- Temperature range from 45°C to 95°C – ideal for accelerating germination, hydration, or drying
- IP54-certified door – dust- and splash-proof, suitable for both industrial and agricultural use
Delivery & Installation
K-tainer takes care of the full package: production, transport, and installation on-site. From Rotterdam to the Swiss Alps – we bring the heat where it’s cold.
