Container logistics on the move – opportunities in the Baltic States
Ronald Vrijenhoef and Wesley Eekman just returned from the North Container Summit in Riga, Latvia. An international event focused on the future of container logistics, rail freight, and intermodal transport.
A key topic at the summit was the Rail Baltica project – a major infrastructure initiative aimed at connecting the Baltic States (Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia) to the European rail network. This development opens new trade routes, more efficient container transport by rail, and better access to ports and inland terminals.
For K-tainer, this is a great opportunity to explore how our container solutions can contribute. Think of strategic container deliveries, temporary storage units, or custom containers for regional logistics hubs.
We reconnected with familiar faces, made many new contacts, and gained valuable insights. A great experience that inspires us to further explore our role in logistics to and from the Baltics.
We look forward to new opportunities and partnerships in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
Big thanks to Conway Container Solutions for the excellent organization and warm hospitality!
