K-Tainer at the RPPC Promotion Event in Duisburg

From November 12 to 14, 2025, Ronald and Fred from K-Tainer attended the RPPC promotion event in Duisburg, organized by the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council (RPPC) in collaboration with the Port of Rotterdam. The event brought together 150 companies from Rotterdam and North Rhine-Westphalia to discuss the future of port logistics and cargo flows. It provided valuable insights into sustainable logistics solutions and new business opportunities.

A highlight of the event was the tour of the Duisburg Gateway Terminal (DGT), a climate-neutral terminal utilizing solar energy and hydrogen technology. The plenary sessions offered fresh perspectives on the decarbonization of supply chains and intermodal transport.

SVH-Waterpolo: A Tradition of Sports and Taste

SVH-Waterpolo, founded in 1928 and located near the historic Zwarte Plasje in Hillegersberg, is not only known for its water polo champions but also for the special treats made by its volunteers. Retired pastry chefs bake traditional banketletters, oliebollen, and apple fritters during the holiday season, loved by people far beyond Hillegersberg.
