Drumroll... 🥁 Welcome to the brand new world of K-tainer News - the first edition is here and we can't wait to take you on a fast-paced journey through our latest adventures!

With K-tainer we are currently going through a digital transformation, and it just makes sense that you play a role in that. We can't miss your involvement!
For example, we have created a Webshop in 2023 and our Website has been completely renewed to meet the latest requirements. We were able to bring in new colleagues and bind them to K-tainer, the new CRM system, and we have now actually put the finishing touches on this new newsletter

Thank you for celebrating these milestones with us. We'll keep it short, so there's more time to discover our exciting updates.

Projects

K-tainer specializes in modifying containers. This allows you to completely customize a container to your needs and, for example, convert it into a workshop, office or container bar. Adding a door or logo is also possible.

Student Case

At the request of High School Rotterdam, several students researched where K-tainer is now and what would be good advice. We as K-tainer experienced this as a nice assignment, it gives us insights and ideas for the future that we will use more often.

Market

The unrest in the Red Sea, mainly caused by attacks by Houthi rebels, has far-reaching consequences for the global shipping industry. Not only do the attacks force shipping companies to take additional measures, but they also have a direct impact on container prices. The escalation of the conflict has led to eighteen logistics companies deciding to avoid the Red Sea route for the time being, with consequences for the price of container transport.

K-tainer is strongly committed to digitalization and has therefore entered into a strategic partnership with Digital Impact. To explore the landscape surrounding K-tainer and developments in the market, we held several strategic sessions with K-tainer. The conclusion: stakeholders in the container market are increasingly digitally oriented and have a strong need to be able to arrange their affairs online. With this knowledge, we have developed a completely new custom webshop, in which visitors can purchase, rent and modify new and used containers via a custom configurator!
